The editorial committee of Materials Transactions is planning to publish a special issue on “Growth of Ecomaterials as a Key to Eco-Society V” as June 2018.
The committee would like to invite many contributions of original articles from around the globe for this special issue.

The editorial committee of Materials Transactions is planning to publish a special issue on “Growth of Ecomaterials as a Key to Eco-Society V” as June 2018. The committee would like to invite contributions of original articles from various countries for this special issue. Objective and topics of coverage are as follows:
Now ecomaterials are clarified by emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches that integrate advanced materials science and engineering methods with environmental awareness to yield energy and materials efficient technologies. Particular we are facing the changes on social system to secure energy and resources in the industrial world as well as climate change issues.
In this special issue as well as the volumes on July 2003, December 2005 December 2007 and May 2010, invited and contributed papers together with some overviews will be compiled to describe the hot discussion on the now and future movements of Ecomaterials for sustainable society in global.
